The Lost Art of the Small Town Cafe

Nestled in the small, sleepy town of Grove, OK, not far from Grand Lake, is a little slice of heaven known as Chickanellas. What I thought was the lost art of the small town cafe is alive and well. A cute cottage converted to a small boutique restaurant, Chickanellas has some of the yummiest dishes that will delight your taste buds.

Decorated in an Alice in Wonderland theme, each room has it’s own personality. Arrive early for breakfast so you can enjoy their Kitchen Sink Casserole, Cinnamon Rolls (Oh My Gosh, Their Cinnamon Rolls!!) , and French Toast Casserole.

For lunch, their homemade pimento cheese spread, selection of quiches, and sandwiches are delicious and can’t be beat.
